The MIT Climate Change Engagement Program provides nonpartisan, easy-to-understand, scientifically grounded information on climate science and solutions for the public at large. Written in collaboration with MIT faculty and researchers, our growing library of short topical explainers, answers to reader questions, and podcast episodes—as well as our interactive digital climate primer—are among the world’s top digital resources on climate change.
The newest programmatic addition, the MIT Environmental Solutions Journalism Fellowship, expands the reach of our activities to audiences who are not yet actively engaged with climate change, by enabling deep climate storytelling in local newspaper and media outlets across the United States. These trusted outlets have a unique power to draw connections between climate change and local values, priorities and lived experiences.
