Lincoln Laboratory is a federally funded research and development center that prototypes advanced technologies to meet national security needs. Climate change is an issue critical to national security, as identified by the Department of Defense. We have established a major initiative to help address climate change, focused on solving some of the most challenging technical problems consistent with our mission. Our efforts combine multidisciplinary expertise — in areas such as systems analysis, sensing, artificial intelligence, data analytics, and decision support — to help us contribute to the global response to this challenge.
